destressing creations part 2

The one and only hubby also created for me yesterday 2 wonderful shelves. They were inspired by this photo of Tara's

So the following photos are my version of Tara's genius...

Bubba's shelf

I found this feather ages ago and love it framed...(PS..Mum note the little toy soldier for Xmas bubba loves it)
Notice I covered the E too. Think the spots go well with the spots on the feather??



Then chicken's shelf...

have finally framed one of the divine prints from Tiel (again Mum note the rocking horse)
see the D??? repainted the aqua frame and rubbed it back alittle before the paint dried to reveal a bit of the past colour..

todays creations to ease the stresses of motherhood

yes today started out a doozy due to my little chicken!!! She is currently the epitome of the terrible twos!!! Anywho my beautiful hubby kindly assisted me all day today and let me be a bit creative in daylight...(I usually do my creating iin the night time kid free). To start out i covered a D wood shape for the chicken with some lovely fabric I got from my romp at the Spotty christmas sale the other night, but I will post more about that later. here are the pictures...

much to my hubbies disgust!!! I love christmas...the atmosphere of family time/giving summer fun etc!! So I thought that I would share with you our decorations thus far!!! Now I decided to have a go at doing a minimalistic /stylised tree in our living room...still not sure if i am happy with it...daylight pictures

However all this lovely minimalistic stuff did not impress bubba as he was looking forward to decorating the tree!!! So as any cool mum would I let the two cherubs put up the old traditional tree in the corner of their bedroom with glow in the dark angels!!! Here are the pics...

Picnic anyone???

chicken has a fetish for making a picnic or dinner everywhere and anywhere at the moment!!! So glad cause i have already purchased a child version braun blender and the cutest little tin tea set for part of her xmas presents!!!

brooch craziness

Well remember the brooches I whipped up for the girls night out prizes??? well they have multiplied!!! One of my buds wore one to work and came back home with orders!!! So these are the completed orders...

lady luck has been shining on me (Grateful 1)

okay I have been inspired by this lovely lady to post about things that I am grateful about and have committed to doing a grateful post every 4 post!!! Shouldnt be too hard cause I have lots and lots to be grateful about. Anywho todays gratefulness falls on these 3 lovely ladies... I really did well during the blogfest.
the lovely Sarah Jo sent me a package with this lovely skirt for chicken....don't you love the prebrushed hair look!! This is her showing off the big pocket in the front.Genius idea as she is always putting things in it!!! Thanks again Sarah Jo

Next is the wonderfully talented and funny Flossy P. I won her spring brooch giveaway and I must say that it looks divine in person. She has some even more gorgeous brooches in her etsy shop too...I digress.. she even added a few extra goodies!!! I feel so spoilt. Definately put a smile on the dial. BTW check the <<<

Lastly is the one and only Molly!! I recieved a beautifully packaged parcel with ribbing and trims...boy and girl colours which perfect for my pidgeon pair!!!Thanks heaps Molly I shall be in touch for those tips on how to use the ribbing.

Now with this stash what is there not to be grateful for???!!!

No that is not my favorite radio station...sadly it is my weight!!! How the heck did I let it get so bad!!! Well I really do know...self neglect, lack of self respect!!! A mums life no matter where you are is busy at the quietest of times. We all have to juggle. Me, well I need to juggle and EXERCISE!!! Just not good at it... yet!! Anywho enough of the drivel my plan is to post a weekly weigh in on my blog to inspire/guilty me into doing something about the situation!!! Please encourage me along the journey....even if i fail momentarily. I have been so inspired to do everything and craft like crazy by all of blogland but I think that I need to be a inspiration to my family my kids, my hubby and you guys of course..lol. okay kinda wish i was getting married or something so that i can wear this gorgeous hair thingy(no idea if it is a facinator or not) that jennifer Hawkins wore at the Melbourne cup... she looks heavenly!!
