rocco's booties

have finally plucked up the courage to get out the new sewing machine and make another pair of booties for baby rocco. Saved so much time but I still am not confident on the sewing machine...practise makes perfect. Tried to make them look a bit like skate shoes with a bit of tread on the souls...not totally happy with them needs a bit of tweaking but not to bad for a first effort. Here's the results...also made a binky/toy holder.

booties on.
here is the loveable boy and his gorgeous mum.

flashback creations

Just was looking back through some of my photo logs and came across the cakes we made for bubba's 1st and 2nd birthdays
1st was a rocket, even with blasting jets(sparkler) I think we got the idea from a womans day cake book??

2nd birthday was a crocodile in water. I must add that I design the creations and hubby masterfully creates!!! Gotta love that man. Water was made from jelly crushed.

yep took some american friends to the world famous aussie zoo last weekend. Was an adventure which included alot of vomit!!! but lets not go there... never the less we had a great time. We fed the elephants 'cept our ellie didnt like the apples and went on strike...dont you love the cranky pose!!

sitting on a crocodile!!!(just a tend one)
All in all tis a great place to take kids and non aussies if you are ever in the area.

Do you roll or scrunch???

No I'm not talking about toilet paper!!! But in our house at the moment bubba feels that it is cool to roll his socks. This is so irritating because when I was a kid it was sooo uncool to roll everyone scrunched their socks!!! So silly I know....so I thought I'd ask you all what you do...roll or scrunch???

Sickness!!!

There has been a lot of sickness lately in our residence!!! Hopefully we are all now over it. This is a shot of the 2 munchkins looking a little worse for wear!
