wish weekends would last forever

we have had a full weekend this weekend. sabbath was hectic but fun..heres a shot of my favorite two dressed for church...
then today was perfect blue skies here so lots of this happened this morning...

xmas has come early in our house...

yes due to the fact that they we going out of stock fast so we had to buy pronto...best purchase for the whole family....What I hear you say...a motorised 2 seater go cart of course!!! Got it Thursday so we spent the whole day Sunday driving it around. Bubba is super excited and we have actually been able to let him drive it himself with chicken hanging on for dear life but with the hugest smile on her face...He's some video of them...Please note that soon after this I got run over but thats another story altogether(Totally my own silly fault)
had Nanni B and Grumps come for tea tonight so we went out and showed them the delight!! Here's some shots of the 2 daredevils..

fill up a down pipe with so kids dont get fingers stuck in???? Well hubby came up with this solution and did it all by himself!!

kids are finally born...

one of bubba's mates from playgroup has had a pregnant goat and we went out ages ago to see her. Since then the kids have been waiting and waiting for her to have the babies....Well they have finally popped their little heads out into the world so of course we had to go and have a hold. Caramel and black coloured twins...
So adorable now we all want one!!!

much to my hubbies disgust!!! I love christmas...the atmosphere of family time/giving summer fun etc!! So I thought that I would share with you our decorations thus far!!! Now I decided to have a go at doing a minimalistic /stylised tree in our living room...still not sure if i am happy with it...daylight pictures

However all this lovely minimalistic stuff did not impress bubba as he was looking forward to decorating the tree!!! So as any cool mum would I let the two cherubs put up the old traditional tree in the corner of their bedroom with glow in the dark angels!!! Here are the pics...

chicken has a fetish for making a picnic or dinner everywhere and anywhere at the moment!!! So glad cause i have already purchased a child version braun blender and the cutest little tin tea set for part of her xmas presents!!!

No that is not my favorite radio station...sadly it is my weight!!! How the heck did I let it get so bad!!! Well I really do know...self neglect, lack of self respect!!! A mums life no matter where you are is busy at the quietest of times. We all have to juggle. Me, well I need to juggle and EXERCISE!!! Just not good at it... yet!! Anywho enough of the drivel my plan is to post a weekly weigh in on my blog to inspire/guilty me into doing something about the situation!!! Please encourage me along the journey....even if i fail momentarily. I have been so inspired to do everything and craft like crazy by all of blogland but I think that I need to be a inspiration to my family my kids, my hubby and you guys of course..lol. got the jamas on the little chicken first thing this morning. What do you think?? Not perfect but not too bad.


Have got the sewing bug now so this morning I made 2 pillow case dresses.
this one is stripey. I added a bit of a white frill thingy on top and a bit of green trim on the bottom.


I shaped this one a bit and it had some cute little flowers embroidered on the bottom. I think next time I will make it a bit higher in the neck..
